Program of General medicine is completely taught in English and consists of two parts.
Part I takes up the three preclinical years and is devoted primarily to the following subjects: Anatomy, Medical Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Histology and Embryology, Physiology. During that time the clinical aspects of these subjects are gradually introduced as well.
Part II starts in the fourth year and takes up the remaining three years of the course: two years of clinical knowledge and training and one year dedicated to elective clinical practice. Upon completing all of the theoretical and clinical subjects and after passing all of the required examinations, students are awarded the degree of Medical Doctor — M.D. 6years course of general medicine – cost is 55600 PLN for 2016/2017 for one studying year.

6-years program of General Medicine (Asklepios program) taking place in Klinikum Uckerman in Schwedt in Germany and Szczecin in Poland– special program for German nationals. First three years of studies are oriented on such sciences as: Morphological sciences; Scientific basis of medicine and Preclinical sciences. First, second and third year of studies are semester-based. The language of instruction during year 1, 2 and 3 is English. Fourth and fifth year of studies will be conducted in a co-called block system. Those two years of studies are focused on the following four domains: Behavioral sciences with elements of professionalism; Clinical sciences; Clinical sciences with patients’ treatment; Legal and organizational basis of medicine. In the last year of studying, there is practical training with 30 weeks.
Last 3 years of studying are possible in Germany (in German language and setting). Plan of studies include courses taught in German and taught by German tutors.

4-years program of general medicine is completely taught in English – Program is tailored for university graduates (especially for students from USA, Canada, Taiwan or American type of universities in other countries). There are 2 years of pre-clinical studies and 2-years of clinical subjects. After completing all requirements, there is degree Lekarz (MD) awarded. Students must take one year of internship and pass Physicians Finals Examination). From October 2017 internship will be included into the curriculum of the last year (6th) of the program.
There is one intake for international students, which is in Fall. Applicant must have Bsc degree already.

In total, there are 3 years of preclinical subjects (anatomy, medical chemistry, biology, biophysics, physiology, histology and cell biology, microbiology, pathomorphology, pharmacology and others) and 3years of clinical subjects (internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, radiology, family medicine, neurology, oncology & palliative care, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, infectious diseases and others.). General medicine:

Program of General medicine has 6 years and is completely taught in English. Tuition fee for one studying year is 42000PLN. The extended curriculum is based on strict European and US standards. After having graduated from the Faculty of Medicine students receive a diploma of physician (M.D.) and subsequently they can apply for a license to practice medicine in their country. There are almost 800 international students from all over the world: Sweden, Great Britain, Norway, Germany, Saudi Arabia or Spain.
The curriculum of the first 3 years of studies comprises theoretical medical sciences, introduction to clinical sciences in the form of first aid and nursing module, introduction to medicine, paediatrics, internal diseases, epidemiology, history of medicine, history of philosophy, medical sociology, medical ethics, medical psychology, computer sciences with biostatistics and foreign languages. From the IV year of studies the course includes basic clinical sciences. Studies also offer a selection of elective courses. Course completion requirements for particular years of study include also completion of summer student’s internship in nursing, internal diplomas and the title of a M.D. During the VI year of the M.D. programme, students have an obligatory practise at the hospital.
