6-years Master program of general medicine is completely taught in English and contains load of 360 ECTS credits of which at least 60 credits are acquired via training activities aimed at developing professional skills. Course also contains course from Italian language . The teaching process takes advantage of modern educational tools, such as tutorial systems, clinical trigger, problem-oriented learning, experiential learning, problem solving, decision making and extensive use of seminars and conferences.
First fee is the same for each student – 486€, then 2000€ per year for program of Medicine and Surgery that need to be paid in 2 installments.
Second fee is between 0 and 2300€ according to financial status of applicant.
Student must pass an entrance examination (IMAT), which usually takes in September. Student must also certify studium of at least 12 years before an application – otherwise students must attend another university for 1-2 years to fulfil the year rule.
UNITED KINGDOM STUDENTS: Students who already have (or will obtain) a high school diploma from UK institutions are eligible if they have achieved (or will achieve) at least 3 A-levels in relevant scientific disciplines, English, Italian or another language of the European Union. No minimum A-level grades are required.
STUDENTS FROM USA: Students who already have (or will obtain) a high school diploma from US institutions are eligible if they meet at least one of the following conditions (or will meet one of the conditions by the time of enrollment):
Candidates must have completed at least 3 APs (Advanced Placements) in relevant scientific disciplines, English, Italian or another language of the European Union;
Candidates must have completed at least two years of college education;
Candidates must have completed at least one year of college education and 4 APs (as mentioned above).
Greece: Students who achieve an “Apolityrion” score higher than 10 out of 20 are eligible to apply.

Transfers from other universities are possible, but there is limited capacity of available places to every study year. Places are reserved for those students, who pass IMAT tests. If there are still some places left, they will be allocated to other students. Transfers are not accepted for students, who are fuori corso (undergraduate students, who were expelled from another university). Applicants will be chosen according to their academic records and after comparison of curriculum from foreign university.
